The ASO is honored to celebrate Anderson University’s Centennial at Reardon Auditorium,on the campus of Anderson University. Soprano, Lynelle Jonsson who dazzled the stage at our Broadway Musical Revue (2015) returns to the ASO with the Anderson University Chorale. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable evening of inspiring music.

Halloween Pops Concert

A family-friendly evening of great music with a strong dose of fun and humor, the ASO Halloween Pops Concert is always an audience favorite. ASO musicians and conductor will be dressed in costume, featuring such favorites as Night on a Bald
Mountain, The Empire Strikes Back, and Selections from Hook. Wear your costume and bring the kids for our costume contest and parade.

Mendelssohn's Reformation Symphony

In recognition of the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, we invite you to experience Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.  5, “Reformation.” ASO Principal Bassoonist, Cecily Sher will warm your spirits with the beautiful Mozart Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra. 

The ASO has commissioned a new work by noted composer, James Stephenson. We are especially pleased to premiere this work composed in memory of Kent Leslie, former ASO Principal Hornist and champion for new music.

A Symphony Christmas

Barrage 8

Guest artists, Barrage 8, combine all the instruments of the modern string family, with the energy and panache of virtuoso performers. Their dynamic instrumentation drives a rich and powerful sonic palette and explores music from many genres. The ASO will also highlight the most popular movements of classical orchestral music and leave you wanting more. This concert will be video recorded for live promotions.
